Last Tuesday I went to Provo for a gender check. My SIL has a OB Dr. up there who will do gender checks (even if you're not a pt there) for $50. Here in Price, I wouldn't get an ultrasound til 20 weeks. I figured finding out 4 weeks sooner would be well worth the $50.Unfortunatley, Daniel wasn't able to come with me :( They only day we could have made it work with his chaotic school schedule would be Thursday or Friday. Well they don't do gender checks on those days. I told him we could just wait til I was 20 weeks and do it here in Price. He was so sure it was a boy, he just wanted to know.
So I worked it out to have it done when my mom would be there, and Daniel's mom also got to come. It was so awesome. I had Daniel on the phone with me when we got the news that IT'S A BOY!!!! I was totally in shock, and actually, still am. It really happened so fast. It only took like 3 minutes. There was no question, it was definatley a boy! Daniel was soooo happy. He's still on cloud 9!
After the ultrasound, we went to Olive Garden and had lunch. Marci and boss were able to meet up with us so that was fun. Then we headed to the mall to get our shop on! I've never really looked at baby boy stuff, but there really is some cute stuff out there. We got some cute outfits. It made me a lot more excited.
We are struggling with a name....I feel like I need a name so I can bond with him and start calling him his name! With Kaylie, we knew her name the minute we found out she was a girl. This time however, is much more difficult! Let me know if you have any suggestions!!!
