1 year pics

We had 1 year pics done today. Wow, what a long, exhausting, tiring day! It seriousley wears me out. She was really good though, so I am thankful for that. We went to my fav place to get pics done...Kiddie Kandids. These are just the plain pics...they go through and put boarders on them, her name, edit things, change from color to black and white or sepia, etc. They turned out so cute. I am very happy with them. I got 5 framed pics that will be here in a few weeks. Can't wait to get them here. I have a bare wall in my living room that just drive me nuts, so these pics will be perfect! I'll post pics when I get them here and hung up on the wall.

1 year check-up

We had Kaylie's 1 year check-up a few weeks ago. Of course I forgot my camera, but thank goodness I had my phone. :) This was after the 4 shots. She was not a happy camper!
Makes me so sad! Usually they get 2 nurses and get them done 2 at a time. But not this time... all 4 at seperate times. It was awful! I was about to offer to help her out and do 2 of them myself, but I don't know if I could handle that. It's bad enough seeing the way she looks at me like "why are you letting them do this to me mom?" The pic on the left totally shows how nervous she was!

She was a little more happy in this pic. It was before the doctor came in. I don't know why, but she's terrified of them. Probably cause they always hold her down and she hates that. He said she's healthy and growing good! Weight: 19 lb 3 oz. (20% tile)
Height: 27 inches (30% tile)

GOOD NEWS!!

Well the letter says it all....Daniel got accepted into the nursing program in Price! We are super excited!!! I totally know how he feels....this is all deja vu for me. I'm so glad it's him and not me this time around! I honestly wasn't sure if he would get in, just because he decided 5 days before spring semester that he wanted to go back to school and do nursing. At this point, all the classes up here were full, so he decided to commute to Price 5 days a week to finish his pre reqs. He only had 3 more classes to do, which was awesome. There were 233 applicants and they only accepted 25 in Price and 15 in Blanding. I feel so blessed that he got in! He's worked so hard this semester and it's apparently paid off! It has been tough at times...he stays some nights at his parent's house in Helper, just so he doesn't have to drive through the canyon in horrible weather and to also save on gas. With me working graves, we sure don't see much of eachother. We're not sure if we're going to move down or not. I'd like to stay up here until our lease is up on our house in October. I really like my job and would just rather stay here. But if the commuting gets too terrible, we may just pack up and move, once again. I swear, we move more than anyone I know. Anyway, congrats babe!! I'm so proud of you!!
