my pregnancy did not go by this fast.
Kaylie is such a good girl. She makes me
so happy! I love being a mom. She is
on a pretty good schedule now days.
She is sleeping through the night again, so
that is definatley a plus! I'm just a little
concerned about weaning her from the boob.
Any ideas?? I've thought about doing the
cold-turkey method, but I think that
would push all 3 of us over the edge.
I also thought about just taking a pill
that makes your milk dry up, so when
she tries to nurse, there's nothing
there. It's honestly giving me some major
anxiety! So any suggestions would be
greatly appreciated. She is so close
to crawling. She has the army crawl
down, and sometimes will take a few
"real" crawls. I feel so bad for her...
her knees are so red and have carpet
burn. So...I ordered her some knee
pads! I know it sounds funny, and will
look even funnier on, but I just feel
so bad! I'll be sure to post pics when
they get here.
Hope everyone
has a very Merry Christmas!!!

Oh my, my... She is so cute! I bet she looks so cute army crawling with her bum in the air. so sweet!
Honestly, she is one of the cutest girls I have ever seen!!!
I have no idea what I will do when I get Crew off the boob and it causes me anxiety also!! Maybe just try cutting back on a few feedings a day and gradually increase. I dont know???????
Let me know what works for you!
First of all, wish I woulda known there as a pill that makes you dry up! I've had the hardest time drying up! I'm a freakin jersey cow! (they never run out of milk, if you get my drift-yah) anyways, Cambri was easy to wean. I read a bunch of books and talked to moms who had done it before. It's best and easiest for the baby and you if you do it slow. That way you're not in pain from doing it cold turkey or taking too many feedings away at once. So what you want to do is figure out her two most important feeding times. Ones that are the most comforting for her and she seems more attached to.Like her bedtime and very first feeding for the day. Then figure out the one that she doesn't seem very interested in, most likely like the noon time feeding. Eliminate that one by giving her a bottle. Do that for a week, then find another feeding in the middle of the day and eliminate that one, and wait another week so she and you have time to get used to it. Then continue until you get down to the last feeding which is her most important and set a date of when you want her off of the last feeding, and stick to it. That way she knows you won't give in and she's for sure done. Then when you want her off the bottle, you can do the same thing. If you're going to nurse her until she's a year and then cut her off, instead of replacing with a bottle, replace with a sippy of juice or water or soemthing. Then she'll be good to go! If you do it that way then you won't hurt as bad, I never hurt. It took me a while to dry up, but that way I never felt any pain from drying up, but since you know about the "pill thing" then you can take that when you're all done. I hope that makes sense and helps a little. Let me know. And also, what is the name of that pill? I would love to get it next time I need to dry up faster!
First of all-she is so flippin cute. Second...that is SOOO funny that you ordered her kneepads. Who knew they made such a thing?? You've gotta post a pict of that when they get here. And third...Wheening from the boob is SOO hard!! I stressed with both of my boys. Tripp was easier than Taeg. i think bc i had done it before. Go cold Turkey in the day and still do nights for a couple weeks. Then introduce her to the sippy cup. my boys both went from boob to sippy...no bottles! Neither one of them wanted a thing to do with bottles anywayz...and I know kaylie is the same way. Good luck Ham!!
She is such a doll! Well we are still working on our business thing.. They probably won't really start until Jan. 1 but so far things have gone really quick.. We will probably be moving to Layton.
happy new year!!! :)
She is so cute! It was great to see you both and we look forward to seeing a lot more of you!
