Kaylie had her first Dr. appointment. It was DRAMA! I had to wake her up from her nap to take her. She hated being in her diaper the whole time. The PKU was awful. I was holding back the tears!! The good thing is...she weight 8lb 6 oz now!! (She was 7 lb 11 1/2 oz at birth). I was going to take pics at the Dr.'s office, but didn't even bother due to Kaylie screaming.

The first appt. is always so dramatic, for the baby and the mom, I remember forcing myself to hold back the tears. I promise they get better. How's she sleeping? It amazing how tired you are but still able to function! She's sooo cute!
Cute, cute, cute! She is adorable, and I'm with ya on the doctor visits. They are traumatic! Jacelyn had RSV when she was a week old, but the first doctor I took her to was determined she wasn't sick, that I was paranoid, AND that she no longer needed her umbilicle (sp) cord! That's right, he ripped it off. It was horrible and I NEVER took her to see him again. I hope your doctor was better than that.
Oh, I was also going to tell you that your mom was just beaming about your little girl at Kendra's reception! So much love.
I didn't hold back, I just cried right along with her because Sadie would not bleed. It took almost an hour to get all the blood on the circles. It was torture! She screamed and screamed. And she never had cried like that and still hasn't. I cried, luckily my mom and Collette and Sheila took turns holding her for me. UH! But, like Janice said it gets easier. I am now to the point where I don't cry when she gets them. I'm a baby I know, I just hate to watch her looking at me saying WHY?
It was good to see you this weekend and little Kaylie too even though she was sleeping the whole time. Good luck with your future Dr. appointments. They're not too fun:(
